          All watercolor paintings are executed on 16" x 20" 100% acid free illustration board. 
                                             The images are all approximately life size. 

              All oil paintings are executed on gallery wrapped primed cotton stretched canvas.

If  you have seen all Maren's examples and you are ready to order your portrait, there are a few things you should consider:
+ Go through all of  your photographs and choose those that give the best color, neither too pale or too red. 
+ Think about your dog and whether it is a more serious critter or has a quirky personality.  Choose pictures that reflect that personality. 
+ Decide if you want a classical pencil drawing, a fresh watercolor, or a rich oil painting.  This decision should be based on your own
    aesthetic.  Decide if you want a background or a soft vignette of color or a clear clean background.  Do you want props or a setting
    that your dog or dogs are nestled within?
+ Remember, your imagination is important, and the sky is the limit. 
+ Email Maren with any questions.
+ When sending photographs, using email, try for the clearest and most detailed pictures you can find.  If  you send pictures,
    by USPS mail, send three or more shots to give Maren the best chance of capturing the personality of  the subject.
